New Modern Times, a thirty-six foot long wall sculpture transforms styrofoam packing forms collected over many years into a vast, complex topography.
The exhibit includes black and white monotypes from Les Fleurs du Mal Suite, paintings with embedded objects on canvas, packing-form assemblages, and small, colorful encaustics on wood and paper.
Touches of color throughout the show, curated by artist Luciano Penay, play against the white sculptural forms, their shadows, and the black of the prints.
